A bus has caught fire in Belmont, near The Royal Marsden Hospital.
One fire engine from Sutton Fire Station was called at 4.43pm today to a bus alight in Downs Road.
The brigade could not say whether or not the bus was carrying passengers, and the cause of the fire is unknown.
The blaze was under control in ten minutes.
A spokeswoman for the London Fire Brigade said: “We were called at 16.43 to a bus alight in Downs Road.
“The incident was over for us in just over ten minutes, at 16.55.
“One fire engine was in attendance from Sutton Fire Station.”
