The car caught fire in Malden Way, off the A3
A Mini caught fire in a slip road off the A3 at New Malden last night.
Firefighters from New Malden were called to the slip road in Malden Way, between George Road and Albert Road, at about 10pm on Saturday.
The car's engine was destroyed in the fire, a firefighter said.
Nobody was injured.
