Firefighters in breathing apparatus tackled a car fire on the M25 this morning.
The car caught fire while driving between junction 8, at Reigate, and junction 9, at Leatherhead, in the clockwise direction.
A Leatherhead fire station spokesman said they were called to the car fire at 3.55am. He said: "They used two hose reels and two breathing apparatus to put the car fire out."
Crews from Epsom, Leaterhead and Godstone attended the incident. An Epsom firefighter said: "We were there for just over an hour."
