A bus is on fire in Ewell High Street
A bus carrying school children has caught on fire.
Ewell councillor Pamela Bradley said the 293 bus to Morden is parked in the High Street, in Ewell Village, with smoke rising from it and that the incident has only just happened.
She said: "All the school children are standing on the side of road and the poor old bus is sitting there with smoke coming from it, rising into the air.
"It’s a dangerous time. It smells awful down there."
Coun Bradley said the fire service are attending the scene.
