Croydon Airport Visitor Centre
Croydon Airport was the only international airport in the UK in between both world wars.
It closed in 1959, but has a museum named after it.
Croydon Airport Visitor Centre is a small museum in an historic air traffic control tower featuring aviation models and displays.
Visitors have described it as “a great experiment” and “a very interesting visit".
The museum is open on the first Sunday of every month this year.
Littleheath Woods
Nature lovers should take a stroll down Littleheath Woods in Selsdon this year.
Littleheath Woods has 25 hectares of a variety of habitats from woodland to grassland, and a field of lavender.
Reviewers have described it as “a hidden gem in Croydon” and “a great place to clear your head and just relax".
For those who find a walk in the woods relaxing or exciting, then Littleheath Woods is one to visit.
Pinball Republic
Pinball Republic is London’s only pinball club and is found at Unit 10 in James Business Park.
Pinball Republic is a video game arcade which brings back the old favourite of pinball machines to play on.
One reviewer described it as the “number one attraction in London” and another said “it’s a great place for pinball fans, both old and new".
It is open only on weekends between 1pm to 5pm.
Exciting Escapes
Exciting Escapes is an Escape Room Experience at Grants Entertainment Centre.
For those who enjoy an exciting and immersive experience, then Exciting Escapes is a place to try.
One reviewer said that the experience was “creepy and definitely stretches the brain cells".
Exciting Escapes is open between 1pm and 10pm on weekdays, 10.30am to 10pm on Saturdays, and 10.30am to 8.30pm on Sundays.
