Police arrested three suspects and seized two large knives after executing a warrant in Mitcham.
The Safer Neighbourhoods Teams captured one male suspect who had landed in a tree after attempting to escape through a first-floor window.
Pictures shared by Merton MPS show the variety of items seized by police including large knives, mobile phones and cash.
Merton Police explained that the officers had been working with the community to target criminality.
Superintendent Luke Mooney for the borough of Merton said: "Operations like this is the reason why the area has seen far less crime in the past 6 months."

A spokesperson for Merton Police wrote on X: “Mitcham Safer Neighbourhoods Teams lived up to their title when they joined forces to take down some local criminals.
“A successful warrant resulted in 3 suspects nicked + 2 large knives seized.
“1 male tried to jump from the 1st floor but was arrested straight from the tree.”
Metropolitan Police responded on X with: “Local policing teams “@MPSMerton working with the community to target criminality - three suspects arrested and weapons seized.
