Two people have been taken to hospital and a third treated for injuries following a crash between two buses in Croydon.
Today (January 10) at around 6:25am emergency services were called to Tamworth Road in Croydon.
Three people were treated for injuries at the scene, with two taken to hospital and another discharged at the scene.
No arrests were made.
Road closures and a safety cordon were put in place following the crash.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called today (10 January) at 6:25am to reports of road traffic collision between two buses on Tamworth Road, Croydon.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including three ambulance crews and an incident response officer.
“We treated three people, two of whom were taken to hospital. One patient was discharged at the scene.”
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 06:21hrs on Wednesday, 10 January to reports of a collision at Tamworth Road, Croydon.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service [LAS] attended. At the scene a number of people were treated for minor injuries.
“There were no arrests.
“Road closures and safety cordons remain in place while the highway is cleared.”
