A man has been taken to hospital after an assault in Epsom.
Officers were called to reports of an altercation between two men in High Street, Epsom at 11.15pm on May 10.
The man was found with an injury to his head and taken to hospital for treatment.
An investigation has now been launched and police are looking for witnesses.
A spokesperson for Surrey Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses after an assault in Epsom yesterday evening (Friday, 10 May).
“Officers were called to High Street in Epsom, between the junctions for Waterloo Road and Church Street, at around 11:15pm after receiving reports of an altercation between two men.
“One man has been taken to hospital with injuries to his head.
“If you were in the High Street area of Epsom last night, and have any information, dashcam, CCTV, or mobile footage that could help our investigation, please contact us quoting PR/4524005269.”
