A man who bit the ear off a fellow clubber in Kingston’s Oceana nightclub last October is still on the loose, Kingston police have confirmed.
In a repeat plea for witnesses to come forward, police said they were looking for a dark skinned Afro-Caribbean man aged about 21, with a bald or shaved head and big lips and dressed in a collarless blue jacket or jumper.
A 19-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following the attack, which occurred at about 2am on October 16.
Acting Detective Constable Lucie Cannon, who is heading the investigation into the attack, said: “This was a particularly nasty incident.
“We treat all elements of violence very seriously in Kingston, especially in the town centre, and we will continue to pursue all lines of enquiry to apprehend those responsible.”
Anyone with information about the incident can call Kingston CID on 020 8247 4909, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
