Sketches of an ambitious new kingdom have been unveiled by Chessington World of Adventures.
The new land, called Wild Asia, features the Kobra, a new spinning disc ride and promises to be the Leatherhead Road theme park’s most ambitious venture yet.
There will also be a walk-through aviary of exotic birds, which visitors can hand feed with nectar, and a bumpy jungle bus tour for intrepid explorers.
Visitors can even partake in some retail therapy in the Maharaja’s Market.
David Smith, chief explorer at Chessington, said: “The launch of Wild Asia perfectly complements the other worlds within the park and we can’t wait to challenge families to take on the Kobra.”
The new land is due to open on March 27 next year.
