A 19-year-old from Streatham appeared in court this morning charged with shooting a five-year-old girl in the chest and a 35-year-old man in the face.
Anthony McCalla, 19, of Oakdale Road, Streatham, has been remanded in custody and will next appear at the Old Bailey on June 10 to answer charges of the attempted murder of Thusha Kamaleswaran and Roshan Selvakumar, 35.
They were shot on Tuesday, March 29 at the Stockwell Food and Wine shop.
The teenager, wearing a brown and white striped top and blue jeans, spoke to give his name, address and date of birth during the 15 minute hearing.
A 14-year-old boy has also been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in custody at a south London police station.
Thusha's family continue to hold a vigil at her bedside in hospital where police have said her condition is critical but stable.
Mr Selvakumar's condition is described by police as stable.
