The capital’s young busker of the year has capped off a busy 12 months by releasing the song which shot him into the limelight.
Tooting 24-year-old Jamie West won a London-wide busking competition during Boris Johnson’s Rhythm of London campaign last year.
He has just released Give Me Everything You Got after playing gigs around the world, embarking on a string of press appearances and getting thousands on their feet when he performed at a special gig in London's Trafalgar Square.
Jamie said: “Winning the competition was great as it proved that there is a hunger out there for the kind of music I make, and also the exciting live shows I do.”
Listing Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and Robert Johnson as his influence, Jamie’s music fuses old school rock 'n' roll, blues, folk and pop.
Jamie said: “Give Me Everything You Got is a kind of wake up call to get out there and give 100 per cent.
“Even if it feels like you have nothing to give sometimes, you still have to try.”
The track is available to download from iTunes and all major download sites.
