A new free school which has struggled to find a site in time for September has announced a temporary location for the Autumn term.
Park Community School will open two reception classes at 21 Crown Lane, Morden, in September.
The site, owned by the Salvation Army, is a short walk from where the school will be permanently housed, Tyndale House in Dorset Road, in 2015.
Rachel Jacob, executive principle of Park Community School, said: "I’m thrilled that we now have a site for September.
"I’m aware that parents have been keen to know where the school will be based for the first year before we move into Tyndale House permanently and the EFA have worked very hard to secure us a suitable site close to our permanent home."
Chapel Street Community Schools Trust, which runs the school, formerly said it could not guarantee the much-needed primary school places for 2014.
Earlier this month the council announced two additional classes at Raynes Park primary schools after a shortfall saw 76 children fail to be offered a place within the borough.
The places will be at Joseph Hood Primary in Whatley Avenue and West Wimbledon Primary in Bodnant Gardens.
