Skipper Tony Craig reckons Brentford must put their noses back to the grindstone to bounce back from Saturday's 3-0 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Bees boss Mark Warburton will hope his men recover quickly after Wolves ended his side's 19-match unbeaten league run.
Wolves boss Kenny Jackett left west London delighted as he watched a James Henry strike and a Michael Jacobs brace seal victory and move his side up to second in the table, behind new leaders Leyton Orient on goal difference.
Henry flicked home from a tight angle to put the visitors ahead on the stroke of half time seconds after being denied by a last ditch Jonathan Douglas tackle.
And Jacobs caught the Bees on the break to seal the points with 18 minutes remaining of a second half Brentford had largely dominated without creating any clear cut chances.
The 22-year-old midfielder repeated the trick as he made it three five minutes from time.
Warburton, who sufffered his first defeat since taking charge at Griffin Park, urged his men to be more clinical when they return to action at Carlisle United on Saturday.
And Craig insisted the hard work starts tomorrow if the Bees are to get back to winning ways sooner rather than later.
"We've been on a good run. We've just got to come in on Monday and work hard again," he said.
"Not many teams go 19 games unbeaten in this league.
"You do not become a bad team over night and we have just got to get on another run like that."
