Kenny Brown's Tooting and Mitcham revolution began in earnest on Boxing Day as three of his new signings helped drag them out of the relegation zone.
The dramatic 4-3 win over Carshalton Athletic at Imperial Fields was the Terrors' first in 11 games and gave them a big boost going into matches against Leatherhead on Saturday and Kingstonian on Monday.
New boys Henry Marcel and Bertie Brayley put them 2-0 up against the Robins before former Terror Paul Vines pulled a goal back and a brace from Sonny Ayres put Carshalton ahead.
Former Croydon Athletic man Jamie England equalised and then set up Mark Stimson for the winner with 10 minutes left.
Meanwhile, Osa Obamwonyi has left Tooting and joined Blue Square South high-fliers Sutton United A statement from the club said: "It is with disappointment that Tooting and Mitcham United Football Club announces that Mr Osa Obamwonyi has left.
"It was brought to our intention that Osa wished to leave the club to join Sutton United without any prior talks between any parties involved.
"On this note Tooting and Mitcham United have cleared Osa to play for Sutton United and wish him all the best for the future."
