Striker Lyle Taylor admitted he is not taking his place for granted, despite leading the Dons’ goal-scoring charts.
The Montserratian international, who was born in Greenwich, hit a fantastic volley in the Dons’ 2-0 win over Hartlepool on Saturday.
It means the 25-year-old has six goals in all competitions so far this season, but he admitted he cannot rest on his laurels at the Cherry Red Records stadium.
He said: “It’s ridiculous. I’ve never been at a club where there are four strikers who not only can fill a spot, but deserve to as well.
“With the likes of and Addy [Adebayo Azeez] scoring last week and Bee (Adebayo Akinfenwa) playing well, it’s good. “We’ve all got a few goals as well and I know they’re more than capable of coming in and doing a job.

“Regardless of who starts though, it’s fantastic that the club has such good striking options to push us up the table, and thankfully I got on the scoresheet against Hartlepool.”
However, it was not all smiles for the forward after his second half penalty hit the post.
But the win has lifted the Dons to 10th in the table, just one point off the play-offs.
Taylor said: “Obviously the most important thing is that the team won, but personally I’m a little disappointed with the penalty.
“I’ve missed a few now and I really shouldn’t be missing kicks from 12 yards like that.
“As I keep saying though, it’s the team that’s more important and we’re on a good run now so we just want the games to come quick and fast.”
He added: “We came back here for the first time since the disappointment of the Morecambe game and put on a good show for the fans, so we have to give ourselves some leeway”
The Dons host Forest Green Rovers next weekend in the first round proper of the FA Cup.
