Nestled in the heart of Streatham, my friends and I headed to the beloved Creams Dessert Parlour to try their all-new menu items and iconic sweet treats.
When we arrived, we were greeted by the heavenly aroma of freshly baked waffles, sizzling on the iron, and dozens of ice cream flavours on display.
The all-new specials menu features a range of delicious desserts, including a rich, creamy chocolate fudge cake, and hot pockets, which are essentially crepes stuffed with toppings like caramel, marshmallows, and chocolate.
The menu at Creams reads like a love letter to sweetness itself; each item is crafted with meticulous care and an unwavering dedication to quality ingredients.
We were spoilt for choice, but I finally decided on the white Bueno Waffle, which came with white chocolate hazelnut spread, a white Kinder Bueno, Creams Buenot gelato, white chocolate blossoms, and a signature Creams wafer.
Imagine the perfect marriage of crispy, golden waffle goodness with the irresistible chocolatey hazelnut bliss of Kinder Bueno - it was a match made in dessert heaven.
My friends chose the Oreo Crepes, and the Strawberry Indulgence Crepes - which were both fluffy and delicate yet tasty and filling.
And if that’s not enough, we shared the all-new hot chocolate cookie dough and the strawberry soft-swirl sundae.
The cookie dough was soft and pillowy, with just the right amount of chewiness to keep you coming back for more.
My personal favourite was the brand new soft-swirl sundae, as it was bursting with freshness and combined the sweet tanginess of ripe strawberries with the creamy richness of velvety vanilla ice cream.
But what truly sets Creams apart is not just the delectable treats they serve, but the warm and welcoming atmosphere they create.
From the friendly smiles behind the counter to the cozy ambiance that envelops you as you enjoy your dessert, every moment spent here is a delightful escape from the ordinary.
Whether you're a classic chocolate chip connoisseur or an adventurous lover of peanut butter and marshmallow, there's a perfect dessert for everyone at Creams.
