How would you like to walk among the dead?
On Saturday, July 6, from 7.30pm until 10pm, storytellers London Dreamtime will assemble a dark night of performance celebrating the living and the dead among the tombs and mosaics of West Norwood’s Greek Cemetery, Norwood Road, SE27 9JU.
The event will take place far from an electrical supply so expect acoustic performances from all. The audience will be expected to bring their own candles to light the way.
If it rains, performance will continue inside one of the larger mausolea.
Tickets will cost £11 (no booking fee) from http://whatdreamsmaycome.eventbrite.co.uk.
This event is supported by the Friends of West Norwood Cemetery and the Mayor’s Outer London Fund, which is helping increase the vibrancy and growth of high street places across London. Vanessa Woolf and Nigel of Bermondsey are the performers who make up London Dreamtime. Their aim is to uncover London’s arcane corners, fantastic secrets and forgotten characters.
