Pupils from the Laura Bruce Dance Academy will be taking you on a journey through the different eras of music from the 1900s to the present day at Fairfield Halls this Sunday.
From the songs of the music hall to the latest urban sounds of the millennium there's something for every generation, with the pupils performing tap, modern, hip hop, jazz and lyrical routines infused with powerful singing pieces from musicals such as Wicked, We Will Rock You and Les Miserables.
The school is based in Beckenham and has over 250 pupils aged between three and 20 taking part in classes ranging from musical production and street jazz to modern and tap as well as acting classes.
Opened in 2004, the academy has studios at St Peters Hall and the United Reformed Church Hall and aims to encourage individual talent in the main disciplines of dance and theatre.
