The Hersham Beer Festival returns this Friday and Saturday giving visitors a chance to taste a vast range of real ales, beers, wines and ciders. There will also be live music, stand-up comedy, a hog roast, BBQ and pub quiz to keep the masses entertained at the 1st Hersham Scouts headquarters on Burwood Road in Hersham.

On Friday evening, the laughs will be provided by The Comedy Works club with a line-up that includes Milton Jones, Trevor Lock and Nick Page, and on Saturday bands will take to the stage, with an evening set from the High Barnets.

Festival organiser Ed Grimsey says: “Last year over 500 local residents enjoyed a wonderful day of live music and entertainment, washed down by a wide range of real ales. The event was so successful, that we’ve been inundated with demands from locals to run it again this year, and extended it by an extra day.”

Advance booking is recommended, and all advance tickets include a free commemorative pint glass and programme. Tickets can be bought online at hershambeerfest.co.uk or by calling 0871 230 0010.
