If you're heading to Lloyd Park this weekend for the Croydon Summer Festival don't be fooled into thinking there will only be music on offer.
On top of various attractions there will also be theatre and a very special interactive tea party taking place on Sunday that will serve up cakes and tea throughout the day while the play goes on around you.
Chol Theatre's Not For All the Tea in China was originally designed as part of Kirklees council's events to mark Olympic handover celebrations from China to London last year, but has proved so successful it has gone on to tour the country.
"It's an Edwardian tea party set in 1908," said the group's director Andrew Loretto.
"The story of the show is that it's in honour of the success of the British sport teams at the 1908 London Olympics.
"It's a sit down tea party where we invite 15 members of the audience to be guests and be involved in it while others can look on.
"They do get tea and cake while the action goes on around them.
"The themes explored include the British Empire and the tea trade and we set it in 1908 because it's the time of the supposed accidental invention of the tea bag.
"We then found out a lot other things happened around that time such as the Olympics and also the British Empire beginning to come to an end.
"It is just a very interesting time in history."
The play has been touring the country recently and had a three-day run at Glastonbury last month.
"That was great," said Andrew.
"We were on BBC2 as part of a special feature and it was fantastic because the show is designed for a whole range of environments.
"Most people go to Glastonbury for the music so it was good to reach an audience that wasn't expecting to see theatre."
The performance will take place at 3.15, 4.30 and 6.30pm.
