Battersea magician James Pritchard is set to wow the crowds this month as he performs his magic show as part of the South London Fringe Festival.
Pritchard, along with childhood friends and fellow magicians Oliver Tabor and Oliver Meech, will be taking audiences on a tour of the past, present and future of magic.
The show, which explains how the ancient art has developed in the last 100 years, sees doves appearing from thin air and clever card tricks to illustrate the art of classical magic.
Meanwhile swallowing needles is just one of the more extreme conjuring acts representing the modern era and the magical possibilities of the future are demonstrated with a time machine powered by static electricity.
“Demon-A-Tricks is an exciting ride that takes you back to the future, showing several varieties of magic along the way," says James.
"They are all very different, very entertaining, and mixed with music and comedy for a fast-paced, unforgettable experience.”
Demon-A-Tricks, Royal Vauxhall Tavern, Kennington Lane, August 10, 14, 17 and 28,9.30pm, £7. Call 020 7820 1222 or visit theroyalvauxhalltavern.co.uk.
