Two very special film screenings will be taking place at the Vue Cinemas at Grant's and Valley Park this week.
First up, Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends return in Thomas: Hero of the Rails this Saturday and Sunday.
During a daring race with boastful Spencer, Thomas discovers a broken down and abandoned engine named Hiro from a place far away.
Fearing that Hiro will be sent to the Smelters Yard, Thomas enlists the help of his trusty friends, including new engines Victor and Kevin, to help rescue him.
But will sneaky Spencer foil their plans?
Then, on Tuesday night, the cinema presents Monty Python: Almost The Truth, which sees the legendary British comedy troupe get in front of the camera for one last time in an original film retelling the entire Python phenomenon from start to finish.
The film features interviews with all the surviving Python members, along with archive representation for the late Graham Chapman, in which all the Pythons, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin, will tell their life story and reveal deeper truths alongside the more tried and tested Python history lessons.
Dozens of featured guest interviews will include Steve Coogan, Eddie Izzard, Olivia Harrison, Dan Aykroyd, Seth Green, Russell Brand, Nick Mason and Bruce Dickinson.
Thomas: Hero of the Rails, September 26 and 27, 10.30am, £4.
Monty Python: Almost The Truth, September 29, 8.30pm, £8. Call 08712 240 240 or visit myvue.com.
