Adrenaline junkies are in for a treat this Easter Weekend as Britain’s Got Talent dance sensation, Flawless, descend on Thorpe Park for a one-off dance extravaganza as part of the special ‘Cirque Du Freak’ event.
The award-winning dance troop that wowed audiences on Britain’s Got Talent 2009 are coming to Thorpe Park to perform their sensational routines, which combine eye-popping street dance skills with jaw-dropping military precision formations, to wow visitors twice a day from April 2-5.
Flawless will be joined by a menagerie of insane acts in Thorpe Park's Cirque Du Freak, for a visual assault on the senses to ensure the adrenaline is always pumping:
· Stilt acts will perform for thrill seekers at the entrance to the Park
· An aerial contortion act will amaze the crowd in performances throughout the day
· The world renowned duo Skate Naked will engage in a risqué spectacular acrobatic show
· An incredible escapologist will perform a mission impossible break out from shackles at SAW – The Ride
· A psychic entertainer will delve into the minds of visitors to reveal their deepest thoughts
· A contortionist will force their body into freakishly unnatural positions for the dumbstruck audience
For those that love the freak show, Thorpe Park's brand new attraction SAW Alive is a must visit.
The new attraction is the world’s most extreme horror maze and visitors will feel as though they are living in a real life horror film as the most grisly and iconic torture scenarios from the most successful horror film franchise in history, SAW, are re-enacted in realistic detail.
Those brave enough to enter will witness the re-enactment of one of Jigsaw’s victims meeting their gruesome end before taking a terrifying walk though an electrified corridor, where one wrong move will result in a real electric shock.
And if that isn’t enough, guests will also have to navigate through a mass of foul stenches, gory sights and the piercing sounds of a real life horror movie, in an effort to escape. If that doesn’t have you freaking out, nothing will…!
The new year-round live action horror maze will complete the ultimate theme park experience, by offering both SAW – The Ride and SAW Alive in one utterly petrifying destination, Thorpe Park.
SAW – The Ride is the world’s most terrifying rollercoaster featuring a nerve-shredding ‘beyond vertical’ drop of 100° from a vertigo-inducing height of 100ft, as well as the biggest G-Force experience in Europe with a series of stomach-churning inversions for an adrenaline fuelled ride.
If that’s not enough, theme park junkies can also experience the thrill of Thorpe Park's notorious ‘Unholy Trinity’.
Feel the power of Stealth as you accelerate from 0-80mph in less than two seconds to the breath-taking height of 205ft; take on the mighty Colossus, the world’s first ten-looping rollercoaster; and plunge into the fires of a volcano at an incredible G-Force of 4.5 as you complete the trinity on Nemesis Inferno.
