Families gathered in Crystal Palace at the weekend to take part in a 5k run and raise cash for a charity of their choice.
Runners of all ages took part in the three mile slog, which included a scenic run through the grounds of Crystal Palace Park on Saturday morning. (September 11).
The Big Fun Run was part of a series of 24 fun runs being staged across the UK, including another London based run taking place on September 25 at Victoria Park.
Features writer, Alexis Thompson took part in the event in a bid to raise some much needed funds for the Born Free Foundation.
She hopes to raise more than £100 for the international wildlife charity, which works to prevent cruelty and alleviate suffering to animals.
