An emotionally powerful and intimate musical is coming to Carshalton this summer.
Redbrick Productions will perform The Last Five Years in a special performance before their visit to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The musical explores a five-year relationship between Jamie, a rising novelist, and Cathy, a struggling actress.
Jamie and Cathy fall in and out of love during their 5-year relationship.
Cathy tells her story of their relationship backwards and Jamie tells his chronologically, meeting only for their wedding in the middle.
The musical combines classic Broadway music with funk and rock and promises to deliver a fresh perspective on the classic musical.
The Last Five Years will be Redbrick’s first show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and the whole team are excited to be performing in Sweet Venues in the heart of the Grassmarket.
