Some sharp dressed men are rocking into the borough this August.
The ZZ Tops will recreate all the magic of the original Texan rock band, ZZ Top.
The three man tribute band are preparing to blow the roof off the Boom Boom Club in Sutton with their big beards and crazy guitars.
Nik Ryan portrays front man Billy Gibbons in looks, style and sense of humour and promises to have the crowd on their feet.
Mr Ryan says: “We are about five years in at the moment.
“I went to see ZZ Top at the Brixton Academy and watched them rocking and rolling and thought it was about time to start a tribute band.
“It’s been a good journey and it continues to be so.
“We really really enjoy the music.
“We try and sum up the fun of a ZZ Top show in all its glory.”
The hillbilly cowboy antics of the bass guitarist, Dusty Hill, are reproduced by Col Gray who nails his sound and unique vocal style.
All this is backed up by drummer, Matt Jones, who portrays Frank Beard – the only member of the band without a beard.
The band which is based in Devon have had the same line-up since they began.
The band has just come back from Europe – the third time this year. They will also be headlining at the Cambridge Rock Festival on August 2.
