Battersea Arts Centre's N20 Comedy Festival has already seen Robin Ince host a night of interestingness and funny learning, and Alex Horne regale his brilliant tales of trying to beat his bird-mad father in a birdwatching contest.
And the outstanding acts continue this week with Tooting's own Pappy's Fun Club, who bring comedy back to the maligned sketch format, and earned an if.comedy nomination at last years' Edinburgh Festival as a result. They come to BAC next Tuesday.
Before then, in a week which sees the Masque of the Red Death enjoy a hard-earned break, you can catch one of comedy's most brilliant stalwarts Richard Herring pontificate about becoming middle aged, and noe of comedy's brightest young things, WIl Hodgson.
A former professional wrestler, Wil is a unique talent - a mohicaned ex-skinhead and member of the communist party who bagged the Perrier Newcomer of the Year in 2004.
Here is the full ine-up of BAC's festival: Wil Hodgson - Straight Outta Chippenham: Thursday, February 7 Noble and Silver: Friday, February 8.
Richard Herring - Oh F*ck, I'm 40: Saturday, February 9.
