Tooting comedian James Mullinger is the bad boy of feminism, or so he claims in his debut full-length stand-up show at Theatre 503.

Since studying Women's Studies at university 10 years ago, the 31-year-old, who has appeared on a Jimmy Carr DVD, has become worried about his feminist credentials having worked on a men’s magazine retouching women within an inch of their lives.

Mullinger is performing his show tonight on a double bill with Scott Capurro's new show, Scott Capurro Goes Much Deeper, tomorrow night, when Shazia Mirza will also be performing, and again on Monday when Reginald D. Hunter will be appearing.

The shows are part of the theatre's Comedy Festival featuring stand up shows and plays.

Also on this week is a comic and provocative satire on human behaviour (One Way Street, Friday); a dark comic monologue for adults about being a child (Almost 10, Saturday and Sunday); a day in the life of the Danish writer (Longing for Darkness, Saturday and Sunday); Susie Baxter's one-woman play in which she plays ten different women (Guilty Women, Tuesday and Wednesday) and an indictment of modern UK policing (14 seconds, Tuesday and Wednesday).
