Tom Wrigglesworth will preview his show, Open Return Letter to Richard Branson, this Sunday at Comedy and Curry at the Watermans Art Centre.

The show is based on Wrigglesworth’s experience of an incident on a Virgin train when an old woman was made to pay an extra £100 after getting on the wrong train by mistake.

The comedian was so outraged that he did a whip-round for her and raised more than £100 from the other passengers.

The train manager, in turn, notified the police who later arrested Wrigglesworth for begging.

Nick Wilty will also be previewing his Edinburgh material at Comedy and Curry and MC for the night is Dave Ward.

Tickets cost £8 in advance or £10 on the door, with a £5 supplement for curry, and the merriment gets underway from 7.45pm.
