Fresh from her appearance on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Kerry Godliman is one of four acts hoping to bring the house down at the Croydon Comedy Club this Friday.
The line-up for the forthcoming event at the Comedy Club at Fairfield Halls also sees Paul Rickets, Ben Harrington and Sion James appearing.
Godliman burst onto the comedy scene in 2003 when she reached the final of The Funny Women competition.
Since then she has developed an impressive CV, making a number of appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and starring in Channel 4 sketch show Spoons.
In addition to her solo work she is half of the duo Godliman and Lane and her rise to comic fame was recognised this year with a invitation to appear on McIntyre’s hugely popular roadshow, broadcast in July this year.
Ricketts, host of Up the Arts Comedy, specialises in sub-urban comedy and will be the opener on the night.
He, like Harrington and James, is well known to London audiences.
Croydon Comedy Club, Fairfield Halls, September 25, 8pm, £9. Call 020 8688 9291 or visit fairfield.co.uk.
