Outrageous funnyman Kevin Bloody Wilson returns from down under to Croydon on Tuesday with his Dilligaf Cafe World Tour.
The 62-year-old has been performing on the circuit all over the world for years, but after writing and recording over 200 songs and selling in excess of three million albums, he is showing no signs of slowing down.
“I often get asked about retirement,” says Kev.
“Truth is, I retired 25 years ago.
"I’m the luckiest bloke in the world getting to do what I love for a living.”
Still averaging 120 concerts a year all over the globe, the last 12 months has seen Wilson perform in South Africa, the UK, Timor, New Zealand and Australia, so he’s a busy bloke but he wouldn’t have it any other way.
“I’ve always loved coming here, UK audiences ‘get it’ – we’re on the same page humour-wise."
Wilson will be supported by a special guest for the evening, Jenny Talia from Australia.
Kevin Bloody Wilson with Jenny Talia (adults only), Fairfield Halls, Park Lane, October 6, 8pm, £18.50. Call 020 8688 9291 or visit fairfield.co.uk
