Rising star of the comedy circuit, Nathan Caton, answers our questions ahead of an appearance at the Outside the Box night at Kingston’s Fighting Cocks on Monday.

Where you live?

Greenford, Middlesex.

How long have you been gigging?

About five-and-a-half years.

Describe your act

Funny. ’Nuff said.

Tell us a joke Come to my gig and I’ll tell you 20 minutes worth of jokes!

Best/worst heckle

Best: “I wanna have your babies!” by a nice-looking woman at a north London gig.

Worst: “Didier Drogba”, because obviously we look soooooo alike!

Who makes you laugh?

Chris Rock, Eddie Murphy, my little brother, youngsters on public transport...

Most overrated comic

I don’t do that kind of stuff. This ain’t rap music. We don’t have ‘beefs’!

What are/should you be famous for?

Not famous yet. Ask me that in a few years.

Audiences love it when I...

Hit ’em with a punchline they didn’t see coming.

Audiences hate when I...

Am not funny. That’s an obvious one. Why go and see an unfunny comic – that’s like going to see a timid stripper!
