Six Days - Six Months is a new exhibition currently running at the Toilet Gallery in Kingston. The show by artist Penny Glidewell incorporates photographs taken at the gallery on the same day per month from January to June and site specific drawings made in the gallery over a period of six days in June.

Glidewell says:”From the beginning I have been interested in the Toilet Gallery building itself – a forgotten island in an alleyway in the centre of Kingston. Over the last century numerous artists have made work that provokes the question ‘What is Art?’. The Toilet Gallery seems to me to question ‘What is a Gallery?’ How to display the drawings and photographs has been an important concern for me.”

Six Days - Six Months, Toilet Gallery, 151 Clarence Street, Kingston, until July 11, 07881 832291, toiletgallery.org
