Ensemble Concertante are looking forward to performing at the Epsom Playhouse. They are an exciting clarinet quartet including Robert Blanken, Emma Alexandra, Sally Cartwright and Spence Bundy.
Collectively they have performed internationally as soloists, recorded at the Maida Vale Studios for Radio 3 and Radio 2's 'Friday Night is Music Night’ and with numerous orchestras and chamber groups. Recently they were interviewed by BBC Radio 4 Journalist Jenny Cuff in the Hyde 900 series for ‘The Art of Conversation’.
The afternoon concert will feature a new work especially written for them by composer Andrew Hadfield, amongst a variety of music from classical to contemporary, with some klezmer and toe tapping numbers for everyone to enjoy. “A varied and exciting programme that has moved and delighted audiences all over the country”.
Tickets are £9 (£7.50 concessions) and are on sale now and can be booked by going to:www.epsomplayhouse.co.uk or by calling the Box Office on 01372 742555. You can also find us on facebook: epsom.playhouse
