This November the Epsom Playhouse will be welcoming many music shows to the stage offering something for all tastes.

Paul Jones, Dave Kelly, Rob Townsend, Gary Fletcher and Tom McGuinness start things off on Friday 1 November when THE BLUES BAND return to the Playhouse by public demand. Ex-Manfred Mann group members Tom and Paul and the rest of the group will perform songs from their new studio album Few Short Lines.

On Tuesday 5 November LES MCKEOWN and his band THE LEGENDARY BAY CITY ROLLERS will tell The Bay City Rollers Story, a celebration of those hectic days of hit songs, touring, TV shows behind the scenes pandemonium and the extreme highs and lows of life as a Roller.

Clive John is known as the UK’s number one tribute to Johnny Cash and he will be coming to Epsom with The Spirit Band on Thursday 7 November to recreate the essence of this incredible man in THE JOHNNY CASH ROADSHOW. He will be joined on stage by Jill Schoonjans as June Carter.

Folk singers KIMBERS MEN make their debut visit to the Playhouse on Saturday 9 November. Having already featured in the BBC TV production Sea Songs, John Bromley the finest bass singer on the British folk scene today. Founder member Joe Stead said: “We are really looking forward to this show, which is the first show we've done in Surrey for almost 6 years.”

On Wednesday 13 November RULE BRITANNIA will be on in the Myers Studio. Concert trio ‘In Voice and Verse’ celebrate 500 years of British history in words and music. Humorous highs and serious lows from Queen Elizabeth I’s reign to the present day will be performed including pieces by Handel, Beethoven, Holst and Britten.

One of the most dynamic entertainers in British showbusiness JOE LONGTHORNE will on Wednesday 13 November. It was through the TV series ‘Search for a Star' in 1981 that Joe first became known to the British TV audiences as a singer and impressionist. After battling serious illness in the last few years Joe has never stopped performing and was recently awarded the MBE as well as a lifetime achievement award by the Royal Variety Club of Great Britain.
