Original Manfred Mann members Paul Jones, Mike Hugg and Tom McGuinness, are joined by Rob Townsend, Marcus Cliffe and Simon Currie as the exciting new line-up of The Manfreds who are coming to the Epsom Playhouse to perform on Thursday 26 June.
Since Manfred Mann formed in 1962, they have firmly secured their place in the history books of British popular and R&B music. The Manfreds re-formed in 1991 and they have been in constant demand throughout the World, understandable considering the number of top ten hits they had not only with The Manfreds, but also individually.
The Manfreds, with "The One In The Middle" Paul Jones, will be performing many of their biggest hits including 5-4-3-2-1, Pretty Flamingo and Do Wah Diddy Diddy, along with a mix of solo hits and jazz and rhythm 'n' blues renditions for which they are famous. Paul Jones, with his award winning harmonica sound, will be joined by fellow original Manfred Mann members, Mike Hugg on keyboards and Tom McGuinness on guitar, plus Rob Townsend on drums, Marcus Cliffe on bass guitar and Simon Currie on saxophone/flute - all excellent musicians who will provide a full evening's entertainment.
Tickets are on sale now for £17.50-19.50 and can be booked at: www.epsomplayhouse.co.uk or by ringing the Box Office on 01372 742555/742227. Please note the line up is subject to change and the show is suitable for over 18 year olds only.
