Having played with The Zutons last month in Roehampton, Kingston-based band The Momeraths are set to wow the crowds at Glastonbury Festival this weekend.

So long as they survive the mud and the wellies they will be back in south London on Tuesday to play at the Hidden Away music night in Wimbledon, where they will be showcasing material from their new EP due out next month.

Three-song jolly Dolly Mixtures will be released along with single Millipede Stomps on July 13 on Kingston's independent label New Slang Records, which is part of Banquet Records.

Described as a twee pop-folk band The Momeraths first EP, Crayon Colours, was released in February and since then the quirky band has spent many hours in London performing at their own shows and sharing bills with the likes of VV Brown, Slow Club and Mumford & Sons.

If you like what you see and hear next Tuesday then the band will also be hosting two launch parties for Millipede Stomps on July 16.

The first will be an U18 in store performance after closing at The Banquet Records Store in Eden Street, Kingston, and the second a headline show at New Slang at McCluskys night club.

Hidden Away is a fortnightly free music night that takes place in Berties Bar, downstairs from The Prince Of Wales pub opposite the train station.
