If you are looking for something different to do on Wednesday night and your ears aren't particularly sensitive, then you might want to check out the Open Your Skull: Noise Night at Croydon's Black Sheep bar.
The night is devoted to experimental noise and includes a line-up of noise artists that you are either going to love or hate.
The perfect example of this will be the electronic noise of Cementimental, which is created by circuit-bending electronic sound-producing toys.
The band will use anything and everything to find a new sound including toy guitars, walkie-talkies and even Speak and Spell toys.
Also on the bill will be Ryan Jordan, who uses his background in computational arts to blend computing with music, sounds, physical performance, textiles, robotics and electronics.
Welsh duo Atomçk will be there too, performing their fast and intense and scarcely comprehensible music.
Garadene and Paul D Knowles's The Digitariat complete the line-up.
Open Your Skull: Noise Night, Black Sheep Bar, High Street, September 23, 8pm, £3. Call 020 8680 2233 or visit blacksheepbar.com.
