The Weybridge Male Voice Choir is holding its traditional Christmas concert on Friday at St James’s Church Weybridge at 7.30pm.

The choir will be conducted by their musical director, Christine Best, and accompanied by Mike Wood.

They will also be joined by St James’s Church of England Primary School Choir for the concerts – the two choirs will sing a carol together specially arranged for them by local musician Gareth Giles.

The audience will also get an opportunity to join in with some well-known carols and the concert will close with the Weybridge Male Voice Choir’s now traditional and rousing rendition of The Holy City.

The choir will also be performing at Brooklands Shopping Centre in the foyer between Marks and Spencer and Tesco at 11am on Saturday and on the following Saturday, at the Heart Centre in Walton at 11am.

These appearances will be followed by one of the highlight’s of the choir’s year - a performance on December 15 at St Martin-in-the-Fields in a service for the friends of Columbia.
