Three theatre teachers from the prestigious Brit School of Performing Arts and Technology are giving children the chance to create a new play at a summer drama school this month.
Sarah Niven, Imogen Brodie and Simon Stephens will be running the five-day long Imaginary Forces Summer School at the CALAT Centre in Oakley Road, South Norwood, from July 27, with those taking part performing their play to friends and family on the Friday afternoon.
It's the second year the group, whose play Iron Eyelashes had a nine-day run at The Warehouse Theatre earlier this year, have run the course which aims to develop young people's acting and making theatre skills.
Participants are split into two groups depending on their age, 10 to 13 years and 14 to 18 years, and the course costs £100 in total.
