In 2007, when Bill Kenwright picked Craig Chalmers from the line-up of wannabe Joseph’s who failed to make the grade in the BBC talent search Any Dream Will Do, it may have may have been beyond the producer’s wildest technicolour dreams that his touring version of Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical would still be going strong two years later. But that is exactly the case and fans of Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat can enjoy all their favourite tunes, including Close Every Door, Stone the Crows and, of course, Any Dream Will Do when the production calls in at Richmond Theatre next week.
