With the new series of X-factor taking over our Saturday night television schedules yet again, TARA Studios present a timely story highlighting the ups and downs of striving for fame.
The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band Changed My Life Forever is the funny and heart-warming play full of hits from the 1960s from Wimbledon-based creative team Isosceles, written by Patrick Prior and directed by Jim Dunk, It tells the story of two tribute act wannabees, Bob (Pat Abernethy) and Eric (Dave Marsden), who meet at an audition which might be their last chance for fame.
Both are only a song away from making their dreams come true, but rock n' roll can also break your heart and though their dedication stands out, their history is uncovered and their future unfolds.
The play is driven along by hits from the 60s sung live by Bob and Eric, such as The Crying Game, Urban Spaceman, I'm the Pied Piper, San Francisco, Something in the Air, Spirit in the Sky and many more.
Isosceles has been playing in the theatre and comedy circuits for over 30 years and this is the sixth production from this creative team.
The company has performed as far a field as Las Vegas and Malta, but mainly tours the UK and Ireland.
