An acclaimed company of Glaswegian teenagers will be bringing a double bill of their works to Battersea Arts Centre next week.
Junction 25, whose ages range from 12 to 18, will be performing two original shows as part of BAC's If I Ruled The World festival, which starts on Wednesday and is a celebration of theatre makers, musicians, producers and designers under the age of 25.
Artists Tashi Gore and Jess Thorpe are the brains behind Junction 25 and the two shows they will perform at BAC are From Where I am Standing and I Hope My Heart Goes First.
"We have felt so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with so many families on this show,’ say Thorpe and Gore.
"The energy and generosity everyone brought to the project has enabled us to really push our creative vision of what we could all achieve together.
"We have been overwhelmed by the response the piece has received in Scotland and now look forward to sharing it with audiences further afield."
A moving, funny and energetic look at family dynamics and the art of parenting, From Where I Am Standing features a cast of 30 as the company perform alongside their own mums and dads.
I Hope My Heart Goes First, the latest show from the company, is a youthful exploration of the curious workings of the human heart, from love to madness to cardiac arrest.
I Hope My Heart Goes First (March 26) and From Where I Am Standing (March 27), Battersea Arts Centre, Lavender Hill, 8pm, £8 each. Call 0207 223 2223 or visit bac.org.uk.
