SMITH BERYL MARJORIE Beryl died peacefully on 22nd March 2016 aged 86. She will be very greatly missed by her Daughters Kathy and Julia and by her Grandchildren Hannah, Joseph and Sam. She was predeceased by her long time friend Geoff Price. She was a longstanding resident of Teddington, a member of Teddington Methodist Church, a teacher in several local schools, notably Whitton and Teddington Secondary Schools and a supporter of justice and equality. She was involved with several local initiatives including Kaleidoscope Drugs Project, Friends of Bushy Park, the Women's Citizens Association, the Lib Dems, anti apartheid groups and organisations which built alliances with vulnerable people such as Action for Children, Christian Aid, Sightsavers and Medical Aid for Palestinians. There will be a celebration of Beryl's life at Teddington Methodist Church, 1 Stanley Road, Teddington, TW11 8TP on Thursday 28th April at 2.00pm. All welcome. Family Flowers only.
