CATMUR Emilie Madeleine Fitch née Greenop Passed away on 3rd March 2021 aged 90 at The Laurels in Doncaster. Former Woodcote Councillor Mayor of Epsom and Ewell 1985-6. Widowed wife of Graham. Mother to Claire, Paul, Ruth and sadly deceased Giles. Grandmother to Seb. There will be a small private service in Doncaster on Monday 15th March. Her many happy years in Epsom & Ewell remained a central focus for Madeleine after she left Surrey in 2008. I still remember her labouring diligently to design and make a kneeler featuring the borough crest for St Martin’s church. Never a needlewoman, it was an uphill process but was finally completed. I like to think that kneeler will outlast us all. Claire, eldest daughter
