ANTONIA FORMSTONE Dearly beloved Wife of Harold Formstone. Antonia passed away after a brave battle with cancer on 20 April 2021. Treated with skill, devotion and kindness at Parkside Hospital in Wimbledon Village and her GP at Parkshot Medical Centre in Richmond. Antonia's final days were spent in peace at the Princess Alice Hospice in Esher. To all those who treated and cared for Antonia in each of these splendid places, many thanks. In loving memory. She enriched my life more than I can say. I shall miss her forever, as will her family, many friends and acquaintances. Antonia touched and enlivened our lives in so many ways. God bless you Antonia. Sign in to add a tributeI was so sorry to read about Antonia. I did not know she was ill. I looked for her online several times and thought she must still be in America.
I was out of London a long while dealing with pressing family matters and somehow lost touch with people, as one can do without realizing. I would have loved to invite you both down to Brighton before we sold my late mother's place but we had to accept an offer.
I first met Antonia at a desktop publishing course we were both taking. She was a fun and feisty friend and we had many enjoyable jaunts together.
Grief thankfully grows less harsh with time.
