Two teenagers were arrested yesterday evening in connection with the murder of a 16 year old on Saturday evening.
Eugene Attram, from Thornton Heath, was stabbed to death with a knife during a fight between two gangs on Saturday night in Mitcham.
He was rushed to St George's Hospital in Tooting but died from his injuries.
A postmortem examination showed he had died after being stabbed in the chest.
Three other male teens, one aged 17 and two aged 14, suffered stab wounds during the fight which happened at about 7.15pm in Lavender Avenue. They were taken to a south London hospital but their injuries were not life threatening, a police spokesman said.
Five male teens and one 24-year-old man were arrested on the night of the murder. They have all been released on bail.
Yesterday, a 17-year-old and a man aged 18 were arrested and are being held at south London police stations.
