One of the most timeless pieces of 20th century literature is being brought to life in Croydon, and all by just one man in an incredible solo performance.
All 69 of the effervescent characters in Dylan Thomas' classic Under Milk Wood are being recreated by actor Guy Masterson, in a show which has won plaudits across the world, including India, the Caribbean, Hong Kong and the West End.
Now his virtuoso display of memory and versatility brings the bawdy and beautiful village of Llareggub (try reading that backwards) to the Clocktower for just one night.
Braithwaite Hall, Croydon Cocktower, Katharine Street, CR9 1ET; Wednesday, November 8 only, 8pm; call 020 8253 1030 or visit croydon.gov.uk/clocktower.
