School pupils dazzled and entertained 180 guests at their annual Christmas party a fortnight ago.
Trinity School opened its doors to more than a hundred elderly people from residential homes on Wednesday, November 21.
Guests were treated to tea and entertainment, including bingo and a raffle, followed by music from the Trinity Big Band and songs and poems from students.
Pupils also performed magic tricks at the tables, served refreshments and chatted to the guests.
Maureen Dixon, head of community action at Trinity, who organised the Christmas party, said: "It is a hugely enjoyable event for all present, guests and helpers alike. Our visitors are very appreciative and the pupils love to help."
Maureen Rice, a guest from the South Norwood Woodside Community Association, said: "It is always such a lovely atmosphere. The boys and girls are so well mannered and helpful. They are a joy to be around."
